Sarabjit Singh is an Indian jailed in Pakistani Jail for the last 18 years. He has been wrongly accused by Pakistani Police of being an Indian spy. But look at their love for our motherland, India. We really want sacrifices like this for our progress. We need dedicated, committed, patriots, for rescuing our nation from poverty, corruption and other social evils.

Rahulji, what is mentioned in this blog is really touching and we can be proud that there are mothers and sisters who are willing to sacrifice their sons and brothers for our motherland.
Even during the time of the fights for independence, there had been many mothers who had sacrificed their sons for the sake of our Bharath.
But now-a-days, what we can find is the increasing westernisation which has influenced the younger generation who is more interested in moving to foreign lands to get jobs of heavy salaries in IT companies.
The most skilled doctors, engineers and other technical hands are shifting to foreign countries in search of jobs with better salary.
Let alone the feelings of being the sons who sacrifice their lives for our motherland, what we are finding now is a fast braindrain.
Indians don't seem to want to live in India. In this current trend, people don't seem to think of India-our motherland...but rather about the lands which fetch them better job opportunities and lifestyle of high standards.
Don't you feel that this is the present day trend?

1 more comment i want to add here. I went through the comments written by Priya... i cant agree with that fully. we cant generalyze things like this. here lots of youngsters are going to IT industry, partly because of the money they are getting(certainly i went because of that) and partly because of their own interest. am working in an IT company in Mysore. Eventhough am working in India, my company mainly works for foriegn companies, so inturn (unfortunately) my brain is also being used by a foriegn company. then the big question will come... why this happened??? we all know around 20 years back government employees were considered as the greats in our society. But now its not exactly the case... there are many reasons for that...
1. even if i want to work for a public firm, can any one assure me i can get a descent opportunity?
I dont think its practically possible. we have lots of young talents coming up and unfortunately our public sector is not having enough opportunities. So brain drain will happen.
2. With all these reservations and all, people from higher castes (NOM... i am not sure about the word i have used here)are getting fewer opportunities than others...
I have seen for my B-Tech studies, students without reservation with ranks <2000 and with reservation having ranks >40000 studying together with the former paying a higher fees. sometimes these things do irritate us and once we come to know the same situation exists even after getting a job (In case of promotions and all)there is no point sticking to this sector.. better go for private sector where you will get all the appreciation for your efforts and dedication.

It seems that my comment has affected you a bit. But I was not blaming Indians by saying about the trend of westernisation and braindrain. I was just mentioning about the current trend.
I surely agree that its tough to get a job in India and that is the reason why Indians are moving to other countries for jobs with better salaries. But isn't what i mentioned about braindrain true? I was not generalizing things, but just mentioning what the present trend is.

I dont know, I am a Hindustani so are concerned with people here. Let Pakistanis make a blog saying about their prisoners here. (I DOUBT IF THEIR IS ANY, Even with all the shortcoming, India is very much better than Pakistan. One need not be a Nationalist or Patriot to say that, One just needs general knowledge and common sense.)
And Mahesh. You dont know whether there are any Pakis unlawfully in Indian Jail and You still would like to dilute the sacrifice of an Indian family by CLAIMING SOME PAKIS MIGHT BE THERE.
SO SAD, I am also born in a land where there are Sarabjith Singhs and there are also people like Mahesh.

To dear swathikrishna..indian culture first prefer spirituality that's true,but it's also true that we exist..We have a body,a mind,and a personality as a nationality as a 'Bharatheeyan'.Even spirituality cannot reject the truth.You can't over come your huger,your primary needs only with spirituality.And the most importent thing is 'Sree Bhagavat Geeta' is not such a tool to cover up ur fear to point out the corruption which workig amongst a mass culture,or the oldest treadition or a mother who gave birth to countless warriors who worshiped the feet of their mother with their blood without a question.Geeta never said give the other cheek when u got slaped on one..It's 'Jesus' not 'Krishna' who said that..If u still feel pain,if u still feel hunger it's true that India and Pakistan exist.They started it first and they are still trying to destroye the culture u said..It was Tatwamasi befor they started it,their were no India and Pakistan,there was only Bharat..and still we don't want to compel anybody.They dig a trunch over her heart,they scratch out all over her body,they are still burning her with bombs.Can u say Tatwamasi,close ur eyes and stay calm when they take ur family with a single Bomb blast.Take the sword man and cut their throat or u go to Pakistan and said to them,'be Tatwamasi,we are one,don't attack any more'.waht to say,We could avoid the other ways if they here ur spiritual words.
